There is 27 million people that have been enslaved in all different countries today. That is way more than when enslaved Africans were sent to America. Slavery is illegal in all countries but that doesn’t stop them. India has the most slaves in the world and Greenland has no slaves probably because there is hardly anyone living there and it's bloody cold.

child slavery:

There are more than a quarter of slaves that are actually children in the world today. These children are forced to work in mines, farms, sex trafficing, some are forced to fish even if many can't swim. Children slaves work well for suppliers who are looking for less skilled and cheap slaves to work.

The poverty that the children lives in would them into to taking jobs most probably not knowing what the job is. Since the family needs money they'd want more of the family working to help supply the family.

Children seemed to have always worked in the USA. There were many people that came to the united states as poor immigrants who were pushed into working as slaves and the majority of the were children.

Many came during the great depression.

There are many children who are injured during their working times which was around 7 hours non stop for some children some even more than that.
