Our opinion on Slavery

E.A.B's opinion

In my opinion having slaves who are not treated well or is payed hardly any money or no money at all is inhuman. It's sad that slavery is still lurking in the shadows of our world. It's Illegal and unnecessary, in my opinion people who are slave owners have no right to treat other fellow humans like that. I am glad that there are people out there who are working hard to help stop slavery in the modern world where we should have evolved to treating all equally.

A.T's opinion

Slavery is an unfair system that can be highly dangerous. We think that all people should be treated equally no matter what country they live in, whether it's a country living in poverty or not. Slavery is against the rights set out by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights yet it is still occurring.

The amount of slaves that get sick or even die from the poor conditions that they are working in are incredible. A lot of these sicknesses don't go away and they are stuck with it along with scars.

E.A's opinion:

I strongly believe that slavery is a horrible system, that should be abolished immediatley. It is not fair that people from other conutries (such as India and Asia) are treated so horribly and inhumane.

It is quite sickening to think that 20-40 million people could still be enslaved today. Slavery is just as bad as it was back then. Although now, there are even more forms of slavery. People can get seriously injured or sick from the work that they have to do. It is not fair that some people are treated like this. I would love to see slavery come to an end for good!
